“Bio-design” is the antitheses of “hi-tech design”. While is may not conform to linguistic rules completely

it is intended to mean, “Design based on the truths presented by the living bodies found in Mother Nature”.

Today’s advanced engineering technology, centering around electronics, often has something inhuman

about it as seen in the word “high technology” or “hi-tech”. The words “human-tech” and “high-touch”

were created as the opposite of “hi-tech”.
